Standards Compliance
We aim to be in continuous compliance with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, as our standard. Our efforts toward achieving our goal of Level AA compliance are ongoing.
Compliance with EAA, WAD and the Norwegian Equality and Discrimination Act
The Norwegian Equality and Discrimination Act and the EU Web Accessibility Directive introduced new standards for digital accessibility. At Maventa, this primarily concerns invoicing processes for public entities, including email invoices, PDF invoice templates, and the invoice display service. While we are not currently required to comply with the European Accessibility Act (EAA), we plan to extend our compliance to other services in the future, starting with Maventa ePayslip in Finland.
Applied Features and Technical Specifications
Our email invoices and invoice display service include several features designed to improve accessibility, such as screen reader compatibility, keyboard navigation, increased contrast, responsive design, and text resizing.
Accessibility of Maventa relies on technologies such as HTML, WAI-ARIA, and CSS to work with the particular combination of web browser and any assistive technologies or plugins installed on your computer.
Areas for Improvement / Known Accessibility Issues
We are aware that some areas need improvement. Accessibility is an ongoing effort, and we regularly review and update our services to enhance accessibility. Key areas we are focusing on include:
- PDF Templates: Enhancing accessibility in PDF templates will take longer than expected due to current software limitations and the technical complexity of the technology systems & formats we are working with. We aim to complete this by the end of 2025.
Third-Party Content
Our services may include third-party content and links. We cannot guarantee the accessibility of third-party content but strive to ensure it meets accessibility standards.
Feedback
We welcome your feedback on the accessibility. If you encounter any accessibility barriers or have suggestions on how we can improve, please contact us through this form or by email. We aim to respond to accessibility feedback within 14 business days.
